With an unwavering passion for culinary excellence and over two decades of international experience, Chef Bagyo leads the culinary program at Walnut Beach Resort as Executive Chef, where he blends innovation with tradition to create extraordinary dining experiences.

Born with a love for food and a deep respect for global flavors, Chef Bagyo has honed his craft in top kitchens across Europe, Asia, and North America. His diverse background brings a refined and worldly perspective to every dish, whether he’s reimagining regional favorites or curating fine dining menus that showcase fresh, locally-sourced ingredients from the South Okanagan.

At Walnut Beach Resort, Chef Bagyo oversees all culinary operations with a focus on sustainability, seasonality, and storytelling through food. Under his leadership, the resort’s restaurant has become a destination in its own right—celebrated for its warm hospitality, vibrant flavors, and innovative menus that reflect both the region’s bounty and Chef Bagyo’s global expertise.

When he's not in the kitchen, Chef Bagyo is a mentor to young chefs, an advocate for farm-to-table practices, and a firm believer that food is the heart of memorable experiences.
